Here are some ayurvedic remedies to boost your immune system

As we all know, world is fighting against coronavirus and the vaccine for the coronavirus has not been found.So prevention is the best way to fight coronavirus but boosting our immunity system is also equally important.

Here are some Ayurveda's immunity boosting measures.


  • Drink warm water throughout the day.

  • Daily practice of yogasana, pranayama and meditation for at least 30 minutes.

  • Use haldi (turmeric), jeera (cumin), dhaniya (coriander) and lasun (garlic) in cooking.

  • Take chyawanprash 10gm (1tbs) in morning.

  • Drink herbal tea/decoction (kadha) made from tulsi (basil), dalchini (cinnamon), kalimirch (black pepper), shunthi (dry ginger) and munakka (raisin) once or twice a day. ( add jaggery or fresh lemon juice for your taste if needed) 

  • Golden milk - half teaspoon haldi (turmeric) powder in 150ml hot milk, once or twice a day

Simple ayurvedic procedures.

  • Nasal application - apply sesame oil or coconut oil in both the nostrils in morning and evening.

  • Oil putting therapy - take 1 tbs sesame oil or coconut oil in mouth. Do not drink, swish in the mouth for 2 to 3 minutes and spit it off followed by warm water rinse. This can be done once or twice a day.

We all know that prevention is better than cure. While there is no medicine for covid-19 as of now, it will be good to take these preventive measures which can help in boosting your immune system.

   BANANA SMOOTHIE 

               
 Bananas are full of nutrients and energy. It is also a great source of essential minerals and vitamins. This smoothie is very easy to make.
Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbs peanut butter
  • 1 cup of milk
  • some cashews
  • 1 tbs sugar (optional)
Preparation
  •    In a mixer jar, add 1 banana,1cup of milk, 1 tbs peanut butter, some cashews and 1 tbs sugar (optional) then blend all these ingredients.
Drink this smoothie every morning for best results.

1.besan(gram flour) mask
          
  ingredients
     .besan(gram flour)
     .milk cream(malai)
     .lemon juice
 directions
     .To prepare this mask,take 2 tablespoon of besan,1 tablespoon of milk cream to a bowl then add few drops of lemon juice 
     .Apply this mask on the face for 15 minutes and then wash it off with water


2.Honey mask
                    
  ingredients
     .honey
     .lemon juice
  directions
     .Take 1 tablespoon honey and 1 table spoin lemon juice to a bowl and mix it well
     .Apply this mask on your face for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water

3.Aloevera mask
                       
   ingredients
     .aloevera gel 
     . glycerin
   directions
      .Take 1 tablespoon of aloevera gel to a 
       bowl then add 2-3 drops of glycerin and
       then mix it well
      . Apply this mask on your face and wash
        it off after 15-20 minutes

4.Tomato mask
          
   ingredients 
    . half tomato
    . lemon juice
   directions
    .Take half tomato and crush it into a 
     puree then add 1 tablespoon of lemon 
     juice and mix it well
    .Apply this mask on your face and wash 
     it off after 15-20 minutes with cold water

5. Turmeric mask
                      
      ingredients
       .Turmeric
       . honey
       .lemon juice
     directions
       .Take 1 tablespoon of honey and a pinch
        of turmeric then add half tablespoon of
        lemon juice.
       . Apply this mask on your face and then 
         wash it off with lukewarm water
