Here are some ayurvedic remedies to boost your immune system

As we all know, world is fighting against coronavirus and the vaccine for the coronavirus has not been found.So prevention is the best way to fight coronavirus but boosting our immunity system is also equally important.

Here are some Ayurveda's immunity boosting measures.


  • Drink warm water throughout the day.

  • Daily practice of yogasana, pranayama and meditation for at least 30 minutes.

  • Use haldi (turmeric), jeera (cumin), dhaniya (coriander) and lasun (garlic) in cooking.

  • Take chyawanprash 10gm (1tbs) in morning.

  • Drink herbal tea/decoction (kadha) made from tulsi (basil), dalchini (cinnamon), kalimirch (black pepper), shunthi (dry ginger) and munakka (raisin) once or twice a day. ( add jaggery or fresh lemon juice for your taste if needed) 

  • Golden milk - half teaspoon haldi (turmeric) powder in 150ml hot milk, once or twice a day

Simple ayurvedic procedures.

  • Nasal application - apply sesame oil or coconut oil in both the nostrils in morning and evening.

  • Oil putting therapy - take 1 tbs sesame oil or coconut oil in mouth. Do not drink, swish in the mouth for 2 to 3 minutes and spit it off followed by warm water rinse. This can be done once or twice a day.

We all know that prevention is better than cure. While there is no medicine for covid-19 as of now, it will be good to take these preventive measures which can help in boosting your immune system.
